Silk Waste / Handstickerei Margrit Bleiker	Our main subject is hand-embroidery. But you should not think about this in the ways of your dear granny's "Carmen" or your aunt Polly's christmas table cloth. Modern hand-embroidery mostly is a combination of perfectly mastered traditional techniques with contemporary variations. This includes embroidery on a hand-guided machine and mixed media projects.
Most of our seminars are designed as distance learning classes. Documentation written by experts enable you to learn this fascinating craft comfortably at home. Our programmes include simple seminars to learn about new stitches and techniques as well as a preparatory class for the external examination as a Designing Crafts WoMan / subject: Embroidery at a Germany Crafts Council. Schulalltag		So you do not have to travel to faraway places in England or France to get a good training in embroidery. And there is the additional chance to get an official degree that is renowned world wide.
